2nd Annual Fundraiser Banquet: April 25, 2010 @ The Colonial Mansion

"For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." - Isaiah 56:7

Christ is Risen, Truly He is Risen!

The Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mary and Saint Demiana is pleased to announce a very special event in honor of our beloved church.

You and your guests are cordially invited to attend our second Fundraiser Dinner on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at The Colonial Mansion in White Plains. Everyone is welcome to attend - families, friends, children. We are in significant need of your support and commitment. Kindly join us and aid us in our goal of providing the services, activities, and solid infrastructure our church is in considerable need of. This banquet will allow you to participate in opening the door to provide hope for our ever-growing congregation. It would be an honor for you to attend and share this blessing with us.

There's a banquet prepared for all of us that is more important than any feast of physical food. It's a banquet prepared by God for all those who would come and eat. David the Psalmist knew about it. He said, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." (Psalm 23:5-6)

Before you decide to decline this invitation, please remember the banquet God has prepared for us is far more satisfying than any physical banquet could be. God's banquet is everlasting, nourishing not just the body but the soul. On that table is spread every spiritual gift we could ever need, every morsel of grace and mercy God could wring from Himself.

Remember, God asks for the honor of your presence at the banquet of his love. God, the Creator and Redeemer of the universe, invites you and I to enter into the joy of his love! What an invitation! You’ll never receive another like it! And this invitation comes to you personally, from God, through Christ.

For tickets or any questions about this event, please contact Mrs. Mary Saad at 845-300-6715. We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible.

The Colonial Mansion is located right up the street from our church at 139 North Broadway, North White Plains, NY 10603
